Orthodox calendar

This small application will inform you about the dates of the main Orthodox holidays and posts of 2017-2021 and will remind you of these events in advance through a notification.
The time for reminders to be displayed (in advance or not), as well as the types of events for reminding can be customized. To do this, go to the "Notification Settings" and check or uncheck the corresponding boxes.
You can scroll through the calendar month after month, and by clicking on the date of interest, see information about the selected day. It is also possible to view the Great Holidays, Days of Special Commemoration of the departed, multi-day fasts, continuous weeks, in separate lists.
Note that this Orthodox calendar is not detailed. This is essentially an electronic version of a small cardboard calendar the size of a palm, which contains only the most important things, namely:
• Easter, Great and Twelve Holidays;
• Days of special remembrance of the departed ;
• Many days of fasting and separate fasting days;
• Solid weeks.
There are only two types of fasting days - strict fasting and fasting day, then There is no indentation in the monastery charter.
The application does not contain ads. For the operation of its main functions (notifications and brief information about the days), an Internet connection is not required. But if you want to learn more about the day (and the availability of an Internet connection), you can click on the link “This day is on azbyka.ru” embedded in the description of each day and find countless treasures there.
To start notifications by default (at 7 a.m.) you need to open applications at least once after installation.
If you are interested in receiving notifications from this Orthodox calendar, make sure that they are not disabled on your smartphone (or tablet) in order to save battery power. If your device has such an optimization function, then exclude the Orthodox calendar from the appropriate list.
