Ayatollah Uzma Seyit Ali Huseyni Sistani opened his eyes to the world in the holy city of Mashhad, where Imam Riza's (a.s) blessed tomb is located.
He received his first education from the famous scholars of Khorasan. Later he immigrated to the city of Kum in 1947 in order to complete his lessons. He attended the lectures of the greatest imitation authorities of the period.
After a while, he went to the holy city of Najaf, the biggest center of science. When he was 31 years old, he received his case law from Ayatollah Hoi and Ayatollah Hilli.
Ayatollah Uzma Sistani, who devoted his life to science and spirituality and has countless works, still lives in the holy city of Najaf.
