Divide the bill

After a carefree evening at the restaurant with your friends, the fateful moment of having to pay the bill comes, this app will allow you to divide your shopping in a few taps.

Just enter the various groups of people by selecting the contacts from those in your whatsapp address book, or, you can decide to enter the groups manually.

Each group is represented by a contact person and the number of members is associated with it.

In the example of the video presenting the app, two groups are entered manually, Francesco who came to dinner with his girlfriend and Gianni, who came with his wife and two children. Alessia's contact, who came alone, is selected from the whatsapp address book.

Once you have entered the various groups among which you want to divide the receipt, you can access the calculate menu where you can choose to divide the account.

'Roman-style' division

'Roman-style' division means the division of expenditure into equal parts.

In relation to groups of the example, assuming you have to pay a receipt of 140 €:

Francesco will have to pay 40 €

Gianni will have to pay 80 €

Alessia will have to pay 20 €

Division of individual expenses

The app offers the possibility to divide the bill by what has actually been consumed.

For example, if Alessia takes:

- 1 first course for € 7

- 1 second course for € 10

in Gianni's family , are taken:

- 4 first courses from 7 €

- 2 second courses from 10 €

while from Francesco they take:

- 2 seconds from 10 €

- 1 side dish from 4 €

and overall, they take:

- 4 bottles of water

-1 bottle of wine that Gianni, his wife and Francesco will drink

the receipt will be elaborated as follows:

€ 35 first to be divided among 5 people

60 € second to be divided between 6 people

The total of 140 € will be divided as follows:

Francesco will have to pay 36 €

Pdf account

It is possible to generate a pdf file containing the account processing, so you can share the report via email, or other sharing apps.

The generated files can be viewed at a later time, via the explorer menu, where by long tap on a certain file, it is also possible to delete them.

Sharing account

The contacts entered through the whatsapp address book, can receive the details of the expenses incurred, through a pre-filled message.

Notes

The app stores the generated pdfs in a folder, which however cannot be used to reprocess the account, however the last account you are working on will be repeated on the next access to the app, unless that one or more groups have not been removed since last processing.
